ABOUT THE PROJECT
While a strong leader in the mail order spice business, Penzeys Spices’ catalog was beginning to look out-of-date. And with the frequent addition of new product, it was also becoming confusing for customers to read and use. With that in mind, a complete redesign of the 56-page catalog was undertaken. An overall “scrapbook” look and feel was chosen to be carried throughout the catalog, juxtaposed against a clean and modern sans serif font. Larger photographs of products and recipes also helped balance the extensive amount of informational text.
