ABOUT THE PROJECT

Kwik Trip, a family of gas stations and convenience stores, held a contest for who could design the best gift card to represent their brand. As a top-ten finalist, our design included two of the things they are best known for: fuel and Karuba coffee. A clever combination that at first glance appears to be a gas gauge, but upon closer inspection, reveals a coffee cup and stir stick—subtly suggesting that you may not only use the gift card to refuel your car but may also use it to refuel your energy.
