ABOUT THE PROJECT

When New Berlin Preschool decided to open a new location, they wanted to advertise their presence in the area with something not only eye-catching, but with something that would make them stand out by demonstrating their professionalism and experience in the child care field. This playful trademark tricks your eye, appearing to be a blossoming flower one minute and a palette of paint smudges the next, symbolizing both the physical/emotional/academic growth of a child and the creativity and hands-on activities that go along with early learning. Also hidden within the negative space of the logo are the rays of the sun, signifying the inner light and brightness of a young child’s spirit. Finally, a bright rainbow of colors were used, both to symbolize the differences among all children as well as the beauty that is created when children work together.
